No Room For Racism is a campaign I produced to counter the racism that can be found within the Russian Football League. My task was to create a font based on a script, which I chose to be Cyrillic. The script would have to work in Russian and in English for the campaign to have a global audience.
I decided to make a campaign which involved a poster, infographic and GIFs, that sadly can't be inserted onto this page. However, all my materials have a clear distinguised style that appears in every single piece, conveying that this is a campaign that is united. Having all the content consistent, reinstates the message that we are against racism and discrimination.
Making my own typeface was a new and somewhat out-of-my-comfort zone experience as I don't consider type and illustration my strong suit. However, as a designer, proving yourself and others wrong is what drives me forward to achieve things I thought weren't possible.
