Task Buddy has to be the proudest design I have produced so far as a UI/UX student. This app was set by my brother when I carried out a work placement at his studio, NOKA Studio. As this placement lasted five weeks, I had a lot of time to learn the basics, fundamentals and a few tips and tricks to stand out against the competition.
Task Buddy was a brief I was given one week to work on. This was something new as whenever at university, I normally had weeks to work on a project, but that normally resulted in me going about things the wrong way. Within this week period, I managed to gather inspiration, create wireframes allowing me to see which layout would be best for this app and also find time to play around with different iterations of the app, adjusting colour and font sizes.
Above, is the final outcome, which I am very proud of because it is the first design I can say looks rather official and professional due to the way I have focused on UI principles. My design also looks rather legitimate, because this was the first time ever I spent over an hour looking at inspiration, which resulted in me gaining many ideas on how to design my screens.
