Design Two
During my work placement alongside my brother, I was assigned the task to research and explore design principles. To do this, I decided to use Skillshare which allowed me to watch videos created by UI/UX designers who have either been in the industry, or have a good reputation as a freelancer.
When watching these videos I noted down all the important information that was given to me, and once completed I decided to put this data into practice by creating a simple screen for Scandinavian Workspaces. I decided to experiment with two types of layout to see which one would be more intuitive for a user but to also see what I could do within one hour.
From my research and designs above, it showed me that UI/UX doesn't have to be over complicated but instead it should be about focusing on the fundamentals and adding a sense of personality to your interface. An interface should be aimed to be as free-flowing as possible while also adding a sense of creativity to keep the user intrigued by the design.
