Tried and True is a fictional restaurant which I have created a weekly menu for. This menu was created for a brief titled as "Visual Data Mapping".
Over the course of three months, I was assigned to document something within my life daily using any medium I desired. I decided to document my dinners over the course of this period by using my DSLR camera. Once I had documented this, I had to somehow display this data.
What I noticed about dinners from the images I had taken, was that I have created a routine for myself which consists of similar foods on a weekly basis. From this analysis I have created a weekly menu for a fictional restaurant.
As I make my own food most of the time, I thought I would make my fictional restaurant target the upper class of society and I believe the colours, font and style of my menu conveys this demographic.
